PARIS, 1st August 2018 – The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) has today officially launched its new online Media Centre. The online portal will be one-stop shop for journalists interested in learning more about the CGF and its initiatives, including the Global Food Safety Initiative, providing access to all the latest press releases, videos, HD image galleries and other multimedia assets, as well as information on getting press accreditation and finding the right contacts for questions.

Available through the CGF’s corporate website or directly via, the responsive portal will make it easier for members of the press to get everything they need on the CGF in one place, including access to the CGF’s latest research and thought-leadership content, which will no longer be available to members of the public via the corporate website. The CGF is launching its Members’ Only web portal later this year to provide members with exclusive access to the CGF’s research and reports.

Lee Green, Communications Director, The Consumer Goods Forum, said, “We are delighted with the new Media Centre and are confident in its ability to better serve the needs of our media partners and other interested journalists. As the only organisation bringing consumer goods retailers and manufacturers together globally, it’s important our news and assets are also available freely to journalists around the world, no matter the time or day. This is part of a broader strategy to provide greater value to key stakeholders, and we very much hold the media in this category”.
